mp3 playlist

Postby sandman » Mon May 04, 2009 2:42 pm

The feature I miss in Files is a kind of "playlist" for my stored mp3 files. I dont like to listen to the music files by clicking them one by one. Is it possible to listen to the entire (music)folder without clicking each file? This would be comfortable!

Thanks

I would like this too. I do this on my Windows PC via M3U files. An M3U file is a simple text file (with the ".m3u" extension) with the name of an MP3 file on each line. It would be great if Files could recognize that file extension and play the MP3s listed inside.

Files already supports automatic playing of all audio files in a folder. Just open the first audio file and Files will do the rest.

We don't support m3u files right now, though it's something we may consider adding in a future update.

I'd like to raise the interest for m3u support again. I'm really missing it so if it's possible I'd be happy.
