Why no support for Pages documents?

Bit of a deal breaker for me, as I'd like to be able to carry and view documents, without having to re-encode them into PDFs, etc....

Do you plan to make this soon? Or is there some API constraint?

Seems a bit of an omission, given the platform.

Files uses the iPhone OS to read and display iWork documents. Unfortunately Apple haven't yet implemented support for iWork 09, until they do Files will only support iWork 08 or earlier.
