iOS4 update for audio in background?

Hi!

I've been a long time user of Files (one of my first app purchases on my iPhone).

Was pleased to see the "iOS4 compatible/tested" update come through.... was sad to not see background audio working.

I really like using Files to listen to music that I do not want to add to iTunes/iPod app for whatever reason. It would be absolutely awesome to not have the music stop when I switch to another application. It would be even more amazing if the music controls in the task switcher and on the lock screen worked with Files.

Any plans for any of this? Thanks!

Hi,

Background audio will be supported very soon (though not in v1.6.3 which is already in review with Apple). We're hoping to ship v1.7 very soon afterwards and this will support background audio.
