Hi,

Apologies for the delay responding. We greatly appreciate the feedback.

> 1. It will be nice if you could add avi, flv, mkv, wmv codec to the video player

It's unlikely that we'll add support for media formats which are not natively supported by iOS. This is for a number of reasons, the most important of which is that supported formats are processed in hardware for optimal performance and battery life. It's not possible to do this with non-native video formats.

> 2. show info next to media file mp3 Duration- image Resolution - video Resolution & Duration rating tag stars

We like this idea. It might also be useful to display custom metadata for other file-formats (e.g. number of pages for a PDF, size for images etc).

> 3. pattern lock

This is a good idea. We've also been asked to support for alpha-numeric passwords. Pattern locks certainly suit touch input better.

> 4. improve mp3 player - new button layout, cover flow

Although your mockup styling is nice I'm not sure it's an improvement. For one thing the buttons are smaller and therefore harder to see or tap; this is especially so for the volume slider which would be very hard to use on the device. The extra info at the top is good (presumably tapping the small album thumbnail would show the playlist?).

Coverflow is one of our least favourite features in the iOS music player, so I'm afraid this won't be making an appearance in Files.

> 5. tabs for built in browser

This is possible. Though not a high-priority for us since the browser is a secondary component.

> 6. improve download capability

Again possible, but not a huge priority. We'll look into it though.

We're currently working on a UI re-design, so watch-this-space!

> -when dubble tap image zoom in = 100% 110% 120%

I'm not sure this would be so useful. I think the current behaviour, double-tap to toggle between 100% and zoom-to-fit; and pinch-to-zoom, is probably the best for the majority of users.

> -image thumbnails grid size

The larger thumbnails look very good. That could be a better trade-off than we have now.

> -image thumbnails background color - white, black, gray

Perhaps black would be a better background-colour than the current gray? We are not keen on adding too many unnecessary settings and prefer to get the defaults right.

Thanks again!

John, can you tell me when the new version will be released?

Many of joni99's suggestens are very good, and I have a few more.

    - Have a look at the start screen of "USB Disc Pro". It looks a little bit nicer then Files Pro.
    - The font size of the server information in the footer is too large. I have a long Device-Name and it covers the buttons.
    - The color grey of the photo-thumbnail looks not good. White or black are better. Watch the Apple-app for photos
    - Decrease the size auf Icons/Fonts in the list/detail-view. I think its to large.
    - It should be possbile to the set standars-views for folders, e.g. thumbnails for photos und details for other documents
    - automatic sync for dropbox-folders

That's it! I love Files Pro. It's my first choice for managing files on iOS.

Greetings from Germany.
