Problem with V1.9.9 - Retina iPad support?

Hi there,

I have just updated Files Pro to the latest version which supports the new iPad retina display. But, to my surprise, everything looks exactly the same as before: icons are pixelated, and documents do not display in retina display, they still look blurry. So it seems this update is not really working. I tried removing and reinstalling app but same thing happens

Anybody else has noticed this? Any hope for a quick update to fix this?

Well, it turns out I had to switch off my iPad and restart it and that fixed the problem. This appears to be an iOS problem as it's been reported to have with some other app updates. So if you're having a similar problem (I also had a blank icon the third time I tried to install Files Pro), turn off (completely) your iPad and then turn it on again. That should solve the problem. It did for me

Files Pro is amazing in retina display!!!

We weren't aware there were problems updating retina apps on the new iPad. We'll add an entry to our FAQ regarding this.
