Unable to display xls xlsx or pdf files

I'm running OS 5.0.1 on an iPhone 4. I've imported the same excel file numerous times in xls, xlsx, and pdf formats. But when I try to open the file, I see the message "unable to open the file x". Word documents transfer in and open without a problem. I have the latest updates on the OS and app. Any help? Thanks.

Could you send us a copy of the xls file so we can investigate? Email to support at olivetoast.com.

Files relies on iOS for MS Office file support, compatibility is not 100%. However most PDFs should display ok. The most common reason for problems with PDFs is that an embedded font or image is not supported by iOS.
