Allway Sync and Files Pro

Postby Loozer » Fri Dec 02, 2011 6:22 am

I've been using files pro to store and read docs on my iPhone and iPad. I've also been using Allway Sync to back up and update the docs between my iPad, iPhone and my home PC. Recently, I noticed errors in the program Allway Sync when trying to sync these devices with my PC. There error refers to "access denied" . The support staff of Allway Sync have stated that this is due to a permission or security issue on the mobile device side. I sync these files by mapping a network drive with the ip address shown in Files Pro through my Wifi. I can sync the folder and the files from the mobile device to the PC but I get error messages when it tries to create/copy the files to the mobile device from the PC. It can create the folders but cannot create or copy the files themselves.
Any help would be appreciated.

In the famous words of Gilda Radner "Nevermind!"

Apparently there is a drop down menu in Allway Sync that lets you choose the type of connection that you are trying to sync with (ie FTP, windows folder, etc). Once I choose a WebDAV connection and no lover used the mapped drive, everything worked fine.
